Multifunctionality
MULTIFUNCTIONALITY
What does multifunctionality mean? It means a robot can fulfill as many tasks as possible within the scope of its operation. For example, spray painting is a hazardous and monotonous job. It requires the consistent ability to follow various shapes and cover them with numerous protection layers. Using a paint- spraying robot reduces health risks to human beings, and it also provides a higher level of repetitive consistency than human beings can achieve.
