Ward–Mellor A particular variant of structured systems analysis developed by Paul Ward and Stephen Mellor for use in real-time systems development. In addition to the techniques used in structured systems analysis, Ward–Mellor introduces the concept of control processes in dataflow diagrams described by state-transition diagrams.
