Born June 20, 1944, in Edinburgh, Scotland; naturalized U.S. citizen; daughter of Harold Keith (in business) and Marion Eleanora (a homemaker) Salvesen; married Jon Schueler (an artist), 1976. Education: University of St. Andrews, M.A., 1966; Courtauld Institute of Art, London, M.A., 1968. Politics: Democrat. Hobbies and other interests: Visiting museums, travel, horticulture.
