My mom's idea of a great vacation was visiting presidents' homes, and growing up in the Philadelphia area meant I had lots of lively historic places to visit close to home. So it's probably no surprise that I've ended up writing biographies of presidents and other historical figures.

"In college, I majored in anthropology and am still interested in different cultures and countries. I love to travel, to read, to run, and to spend time with my family."
