Rusca, Francesco , Italian composer who flourished in the 2nd half of the 17th century. He was maestro di cappella at Corno Cathedral from 1659 until 1699. He wrote about 100 masses, Psalms, cantatas, etc., in a highly developed polyphonic style, containing as many as 16 independent vocal and instrumental parts. His 5 keyboard toccatas are included in vol. III of I classici (Corno, 1961).
