Roger-Ducasse, Jean (Jules Aimable) (b Bordeaux, 1873; d Taillan-Médoc, 1954). Fr. composer and teacher. Prof. of comp., Paris Cons. 1935–40. Works incl. comic opera Cantegril (1931), mime-drama Orphée (1913), Suite française, orch. (1907), pf. qt., str. qt., motets, and songs. Completed and orch. Debussy's Rhapsody for sax. and orch. (1919).
