Rampini, Giacomo
Rampini, Giacomo , Italian and composer, nephew of (Giovanni) Giacomo Rampini ; b. Rovigo, date unknown; d. Udine, Nov. 1811. He studied with his uncle in Padua and became a priest. He was organist in Latisana before serving as substitute organist (1775–79) and permanent organist (from 1779) at Udine Cathedral. He also was its maestro di cappella from 1799, and was a teacher at the Udine seminary from 1775. He composed sacred Works and sonatas for organ or harpsichord.
