Pullois, Jean or Johannes
Pullois, Jean or Johannes , Flemish composer; b. probably in Antwerp, c. 1420; d. Aug. 23, 1478. He was a singer at the Antwerp Cathedral (1442–47), and then sang in the papal chapel (until 1459). After serving as a member of the Burgundian court chapel, he returned to Antwerp in 1463. He composed both liturgical and secular vocal music. His complete works were ed. by P. Gülke in Corpus Mensurabilis Musicae, XLI (1967).
