Lind, Eva, Austrian soprano; b. Innsbruck, June 14, 1965. She received vocal training in Vienna. In 1983 she made her debut as a Flower Maiden in Parsifal in Innsbruck. In 1986 she sang Lucia in Basel and at the Vienna State Opera, and also the Italian Singer in Capriccio at the Salzburg Festival. She appeared as the Queen of the Night in Paris in 1987. In 1988 she made her British debut as Nannetta at the Glyndebourne Festival. She was engaged as Gounod’s Juliet in Zürich in 1990, and in 1993 she sang Weber’s Aennechen in Bonn. She appeared as Blondchen in Catania in 1996.
