Iturriberiy, Juan José, Uruguayan composer; b. Pando, Oct. 24, 1936. He studied in Montevideo with Carlos Estrada and Héctor Tosar, and also took a course in electro-acoustical techniques. His works are quaquaversal, with some requiring electronic applications. His Meditation in F (1975) is concentrated on the single note F, which is repeated ad nauseam.
