Ford, Bruce (b Lubbock, Texas, 1956). Amer. tenor. Début while student in Adriana Lecouvreur. Sang in f.p. of Floyd's Willie Stark (Houston, 1981). Joined Wuppertal Opera 1983–5. Sang with Minnesota Opera 1984 and at Mannheim 1985–7. Débuts: Wexford 1986; CG 1991. Also Salzburg Fest. and La Scala. Specialist in Rossini roles.
