Bitetti (Ravina), Ernesto (Guillermo)
Bitetti (Ravina), Ernesto (Guillermo), Argentine guitarist and teacher; b. Rosario, July 20, 1943. He studied guitar in Santa Fe; completed his education at the Univ. Nacional del Litoral (M. Mus., 1964). He made his debut in Rosario in 1958; then toured in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and the Orient. He taught at the Ind. Univ. School of Music in Bloomington from 1989. Several composers wrote guitar pieces especially for him.
