Bernabei, Giuseppe Antonio
Bernabei, Giuseppe Antonio, Italian composer, son of Èrcole Bernabei; b. Rome, 1649; d. Munich, March 9, 1732. He studied with his father, and served with him as a vice-Kapellmeister in Munich beginning in 1677. After his father’s death in 1687, he assumed his post as principal Kapellmeister. He wrote 15 operas and much sacred music.
