Toothless ★★½ 1997
Katherine Lewis (Alley) is a workobsessed dentist who is struck by a car and wakes up in Limbo Land (yes, she's dead). The supervisor, Ms. Rogers (Redgrave), informs Katherine that because she had no emotional connections in life her entry into heaven will have to wait—and she's going to do her time as the Tooth Fairy. Katherine is not supposed to intervene with her charges but this sarcastic lady, who doesn't much care for her princesslike Tooth Fairy attire, does get involved with 12-year-old Bobby (Mallinger) and his widowed dad (Midkiff). 85m/C VHS, DVD . Kirstie Alley, Ross Malinger, Dale Midkiff, Lynn Redgrave, Daryl (Chill) Mitchell, Melanie Mayron, Kimberly Scott, Helen Slater; W: Mark S. Kaufman. TV
