Inge Ottenberg (Reaser) becomes a mail-order bride for Norwegian-American farmer Olaf (Guinee) in Minnesota just after WWI. But the fact that she is German (and knows minimal English) causes strong feelings within the community and the local minister (Heard) refuses to marry them. Olaf moves into the barn to preserve decorum while Inge tries to settle in and they fall in love. Sweet story, told in flashbacks. 110m/ C DVD .
