Sundown 1991
Sundown ★½ 1991 (R)
An ambitious shot at a vampire western fails because it drains almost all vampire lore and winds up resembling a standard oater. Carradine plays a reformed vampire king (guess who) running a desert clinic that weans bloodsuckers away from preying on humans. But undead renegades attack using sixguns and wooden bullets. The climax may outrage horror purists. 104m/C VHS . David Carradine, Bruce Campbell, Deborah Foreman, Maxwell Caulfield, Morgan Brittany; D: Anthony Hickox.
