Poor Countess Vera (MacDonald) dumps her boring rich fiance, Prince Otto (Allister), and heads to Monte Carlo, hoping to win big. Shy Count Rudolph (Buchanan) thinks Vera will bring him good luck and asks to stroke her blonde curls. When Vera wins instead, she decides to hire Rudolph, whom she mistakenly believes is a hairdresser.
