The Living Dead Girl
The Living Dead Girl ★★½ La Morte Vivante 1982
Workers illegally trying to dispose of hazardous chemical wastes in a cellar make the mistake of indulging in a bit of grave robbing at the nextdoor crypt. A 55gallon drum cracks open; the stuff hits an open coffin and a blonde (Blanchard) with long sharp fingernails and a taste for blood is reanimated. It's another sex-and-gore fest from the prolific Rollin, though this is one of his more polished productions. French with subtitles. 91m/C DVD . FR Marina Pierro, Francoise Blanchard, Mike Marshall, Carina Barone, Fanny Magier; D: Jean Rollin; W: Jean Rollin.
