The Line of Beauty ★★½ 2006

Middle-class Nick Guest (Stevens) is befriended at Oxford by wealthy Toby Fedden (Coleman), whose father Gerald (McInnerney) is a rising Tory politician in Thatcher's Britain of the 1980s. Guest moves into the family's London home—in part to keep an eye on Toby's troubleprone sister Catherine (Atwell). The gay Nick also starts exploring his sexuality: first with workingclass Leo (Gilet) and then with Wani (Wyndham), the closeted druggie son of a Lebanese tycoon. Scandals eventually catch up with both Nick and the Feddens. Based on the novel by Alan Hollinghurst. 180m/C DVD .
