It's All Gone, Pete Tong
It's All Gone, Pete Tong Woof! 2004 (R)
“Pete Tong” is a Cockney rhyming slang for ‘wrong.' Frankie Wilde (Kaye) is a DJ with a major coke habit and the club world at his feet when, after years of audio at excessive levels, he loses his hearing. Dropping out of sight he hires a beautiful deaf woman to teach him lip-reading and learns the properties of vibration from a flamenco dancer, all to eventually reclaim his King of the Club DJ status. Too little hilarity and an unfocused script. 88m/C DVD . GB CA Paul Kaye, Beatriz Batarda, Mike Wilmot, Paul J. Spence, Kate Magowan, Dave Lawrence; D: Michael Dowse; W: Michael Dowse; C: Balasz Bolygo; M: Graham Massey.
