The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom
The Bliss of Mrs.Blossom ★★★ 1968
Three's a crowd in this light-hearted romp through the machinations of a brassiere manufacturer (Attenborough) and his neglected wife (MacLaine). Mrs. Blossom finds sewing machine repairman Booth so appetizing that she hides him in the attic of the Blossom home. He reads books and redecorates, until, several plot twists later, At-tenborough discovers the truth. Witty and wise, with fine supporting cast and excellent pacing. 93m/C GB Shirley MacLaine, Rich- ard Attenborough, James Booth, Freddie Jones, John Cleese; D: Joseph McGrath.
