Andy Warhol's Dracula ★★★ Blood for Dracula; Young Dracula; Dracula Cerca Sangue di Vergine e…Mori de Sete; Dracula Vuole Vivere: Cerca Sangue de Vergina; Andy Warhol's Young Dracula 1974 (R)

Sex and camp humor, as well as a large dose of blood, highlight Warhol's treatment of the tale. As Dracula can only subsist on the blood of pure, untouched maidens (“were-gins”), gardener Dallesandro rises to the occasion in order to make as many women as he can ineligible for Drac's purposes. Very reminiscent of Warhol's “Frankenstein,” but with a bit more spoofery. Look for Roman Polanski in a cameo peek as a pub patron. Available in R and unrated versions. 106m/C VHS, DVD .
