American costume designer . Born in 1914; educated at Chouinard Art School.

After attending Chouniard Art School, Yvonne Wood worked for Fox and Universal studios as a sketch artist. Her first film credit as a costume designer came in 1943 in The Gang's All Here with Carmen Miranda . Ultimately, her career spanned some 75 films through 1981.
