African-American basketball player. Born Aug 12, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas; graduate of University of Kansas, 1981.

Was a star national player at the University of Kansas; won a team gold medal at World University Games (1979); played for US at Pan American Games (1981, 1983) and World championship (1983, 1990); was the 1st woman signed with the Harlem Globetrotters (1985); captained the 1st American women's basketball team in the Olympics (1984) and won a gold medal; had 9 years of professional play; became a stockbroker for Magna Securities in NY; signed with Cleveland Rockers in WNBA (1997); drafted by Detroit Shock (1998); retired to coach (1999). Wade Trophy winner (1981).
