Countess of Pembroke. Name variations: Katherine or Catherine Plantagenet. Born around 1471; illegitimate daughter of Richard III (1452–1485), king of England (r. 1483–1485); married William Herbert (1455–1491), 2nd earl of Pembroke, in March 1484. William Herbert's first wife was Mary Woodville (sister of Queen Elizabeth Woodville ).
