American runner. Name variations: Mary Washburn Conklin. Born Aug 4, 1907; died Feb 2, 1994, in Weymouth, MA; graduate of DePauw University, 1928.
At Amsterdam Olympics, won a silver medal in 4 × 100-meter relay (1928); was one of the founders of the Long Island Field Hockey Team and played on the US women's lacrosse team for 7 years; coached at Beaver College for 11 years.
