Made stage debut in Good Little Devil (1913), followed by Pagans, The Breaking Point, The Show-Off, Antony and Cleopatra, The Male Animal and My Fair Lady, among others; made film debut in Du Barry Did All Right (1937); other films include Adventures of Martin Eden, The Male Animal, Because of Him, I Surrender Dear, The Dark Corner and Rachel and the Stranger.
