Lebanese poet. Born 1935 in Beirut, Lebanon; died 1983.
Educated in French schools in Beirut and Athens; became literary editor of French supplement of Beirut paper, al-Nahar; works include Juin et les Mécreants (1968), Poèmes pour une Histoire (1972), Le Revêur de Terre (1975), Archives Sentimentales d'une Guerre au Liban (1982), La Terre Arretée (1984), and La Prose Oeuvres Complètes (1985).
