Saranti, Galateia (1920–)

Greek novelist, short-story and children's writer. Born 1920 in Patras, Greece; studied law in Athens.

Works include The Castle (1942), The Book of Johannes and Maria (1952), Our Old House (1959), Colors of Trust (1962) and The Boundaries (1966); also published stories for children and several plays. Named Grand Commander of the Order of the Phoenix (2004).
