Austrian figure skater. Born 1927 in Vienna, Austria; died 1983; earned doctorate in German and English at University of Vienna, 1954; married.
Won a silver medal at St. Moritz Olympics and silver medals at the World and European championships (1948); won gold medal at European championship (1949); turned pro (1950) and joined the Vienna Ice Revue; retired from skating (1961); became the 1st female sportscaster of Austrian Broadcasting Corp (ORF); died 4 months after husband's death.
