Hungarian swimmer. Born Jan 1930 in Hungary.

At London Olympics, won a bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke (1948); at Helsinki Olympics, won a silver medal in the 200-meter breaststroke, a silver medal in the 400-meter freestyle, and a gold medal in the 4 × 100-meter freestyle relay (1952).
