McBean, Marnie (1968–)
Canadian rower. Born Marnie Elizabeth McBean, Jan 28, 1968, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Along with Kathleen Heddle, won gold medals for coxless pairs and coxed eights at World championships (1991), gold medal in coxless pairs and a gold medal in coxed eights at Barcelona Olympics (1992), and a gold medal for double sculls and a bronze medal for quadruple sculls at Atlanta Olympics (1996). Inducted into Canadian Sports Hall of Fame (1997).
