Became president of Nickelodeon (1984) and turned the cable channel into a powerhouse, launching shows like "Rugrats," "Ren and Stimpy" and "Nick News" on "Nick at Nite"; also served as vice chair of MTV; became president of Disney/ABC Cable Networks (1996); with others, founded Oxygen Media (1998) and became its CEO (2003).
