Laya Yoga

That form of yoga in which the yogi listens to sounds that can be heard within his own body when the ears are closed. These sounds, termed Nada, are of various kinds, ranging from the roar of the ocean to the humming of bees. Variations on laya yoga have become central to the Radhasoami groups in the Pubjab and to its North American derivatives such as the Diving Life Mission (now Elan Vital) and ECKANKAR.
