Kleeberg, Clotilde (1866–1909)

French pianist. Born in France in 1866; died in 1909; studied with Louise Aglae Massart at the Paris Conservatoire.

A student of Louise Aglae Massart at the Paris Conservatoire, Clotilde Kleeberg was a successful concert artist whose playing was described as unaffected and vigorous. She was one of the first to revive the old French clavecinist (harpsichord) composers.
