Canadian journalist. Name variations: E. Cora Hind. Born Ella Cora Hind in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 1861; died in 1942.
Served as a wheat inspector for 3 years before turning to writing for the Manitoba Free Press (1901); her judgment of crops and possible yield were so accurate that for the next 25 years her estimates influenced the advance price of Canadian wheat.
