At Barcelona Olympics, won silver medals in the 4×100-meter medley relay and 200-meter backstroke and a gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle (1992); won silver medals for 400- and 800-meter freestyle and 800-meter freestyle relay and a bronze medal for 200-meter freestyle at Atlanta Olympics (1996).
