New Zealand-born Australian racer. Born 1956 in New Zealand.
Became the 1st woman to win an Australian national motor sport Grand Prix when she partnered boyfriend Doug Chivas to win the Grand Prix of the Mount Panorama circuit for 1000cc motorcycle sidecars (April 1984); with this victory, was also the 1st woman in the world to win a national motor sport Grand Prix.
