Made London debut with the D'Oyly Carte Opera company as Blush-of-Morning during the premiere of The Rose of Persia (Nov 1899), followed by The Emerald Isle, Merrie England, A Princess of Kensington, The Earl and the Girl, The Talk of the Town, The Dairymaids, Queer Fish and Ducks and Quacks, among others.
