Françoise d'Orleans (fl. 1650)

Duchess of Savoy. Name variations: Francoise of Orleans; Mlle de Valois. Flourished around 1650; daughter of Gaston d'Orleans (1608–1660), duke of Orléans (brother of Louis XIII, king of France) and Marguerite of Lorraine ; first wife of Charles Emmanuel II (1634–1675), duke of Savoy (r. 1638–1675).

Françoise d'Orleans died a few months after her marriage to Charles Emmanuel II, duke of Savoy; he then married Jeanne of Nemours (d. 1724).
