American poet. Born Jan 14, 1715; died May 1745.
Brought up in strict Calvinist home; married to escape father and then committed suicide after marriage proved unhappy. One poem is extant, "Lines from a Letter to Her Sister, Jane Colman Turell, Mar 23, 1733."
