English actress and writer. Born May 27, 1870, in England; died June 7, 1927; m. W.W. Kelly.
Made stage debut in Jack and the Beanstalk (1889), followed by The Two Orphans, The Fires of Youth (her own play), and A Royal Divorce; came to prominence as Frances Vere in The Worst Woman in London (1903); wrote Scarlet and Grey, concerning Red Cross work during WWI.
