American Alpine skier. Name variations: Marilyn Cochran Brown. Born Feb 7, 1950, in Richmond, Vermont; dau. of Virginia and Gordon S. ("Mickey") Cochran (skier); sister of Bob, Linda, and Barbara Cochran (all skiers).
At World Cup, won a giant slalom title (1969) and was the 1st American to win the French championship; at World championships, won a bronze medal for combined (1970).
