Bertha of Burgundy (964–1024)

Queen of France. Born c. 964; died 1024; dau. of Matilda Martel (943–c. 982) and Conrad, king of Burgundy (r. 937–993); became 2nd wife of her cousin Robert II the Pious (972–1031, son of Hugh Capet) sometimes known as Robert I, king of France (r. 996–1031), in 996 (marriage annulled in 998); children: Almaric Montfort.
