French essayist and translator. Born 1719 in France; died 1804; m. Parisian parliamentary lawyer (died); m. President Durey de Meinières (parliamentary president and antiquary), also seen as President du Rey de Meyniéres.
Published 2 essays, Réflexions d'une provinicale sur le discours de J.J. Rousseau (1756) and Observations sur la novlesse et le tiers état (1758); translations include Samuel Johnson's novels The Prince of Abyssinia and The History of Ophelia and Hume's history of the Plantagenets.
