Russian émigré poet. Name variations: Lidiia Alekseevna Alekseeva. Born Lidiya Alekseeva Devel in Dvinsk, Russia, 1909.
At 7, began to write poetry; with the advent of Bolshevism, left Russia for Yugoslavia (1920), where she spent the next 2 decades, then immigrated to US (1949); was a significant poet of the Russian literary emigration; also published a number of delicately tinted, lyrical prose miniatures.
