Russian basketball player. Born Svetlana Olegovna Abrosimova, July 9, 1980, in St. Petersburg, Russia; graduated from University of Connecticut, 2001.
Forward; placed 5th on the UConn career scoring list with 1,598 points; drafted by Minnesota Lynx of WNBA in 1st round (2001); won a silver medal with Russian National team at World championships (1998); was a member of the Russian National team at Sydney Olympics (2000). Twice named Kodak All-American.
