Richard Anglicus

fl. 1200s

English alchemist who in his Correctum alchymiae (c. 1250) divided minerals into two classes according to their physical origins. He may have been the same person as Richard of Wendover, who served as bishop of Rochester from 1235-51 and died in 1252 or 1256.
