Grünewald, Fritz (d. 1925)
German engineer who pioneered instrumental control for testing psychical phenomena. His ingenious laboratory instruments were exhibited at the 1921 International Congress for Psychical Research in Copenhagen, and they served as a model for research laboratories in Paris, London, Berlin, Munich, and Vienna. Grünewald mostly experimented with psychics Johannsen, Einer Nielsen, Jan Guzyk, and Anna Rasmussen. He also investigated the case of Eleonore Zügun.
