Polythoridae
Polythoridae (damselflies; order Odonata, suborder Zygoptera) Family of damselflies which frequent streams. With the Epallaginidae, they are the only odonates in which the larvae have large abdominal gills as well as the three tracheal gills. There are more than 60 described extant species found in the New World tropics.
